Terms of Service

Effective September 25, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and StyleChart Technologies, LLC, a subsidiary of Whole Atlas (“StyleChart,” “we,” “us”), and they cover your use of the StyleChart apps and website (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.

1. Who can use StyleChart

You must be at least 13 years old to use StyleChart, and at least 18 to use it as a professional. If you use StyleChart on behalf of a business, you confirm you’re authorized to accept these terms for it.

2. Your account

You sign in with Apple or Google, and you’re responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your devices and sign-in secure. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without permission.

3. Your StyleChart belongs to you

You own the content you add to StyleChart, including your profile, services, formulas, products, notes and photos (“Your Content”). You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process and display Your Content only as needed to run the Service for you, including showing it to the professionals you choose, and to create de-identified, aggregated data as described in our Privacy Policy. This license ends when Your Content is deleted, except for de-identified, aggregated data and copies in backups for a limited time.

4. Sharing and professionals

• You decide which professionals can see your StyleChart, which categories they see, and whether they can add entries. You can change or revoke access anytime.
• When a professional adds a service, formula, product, photo or shared note to a client’s StyleChart, it becomes part of that client’s record. The professional gives the client and StyleChart a perpetual, non-exclusive license to keep and display it there, including after the professional deletes their account.
• Professionals must have their client’s permission before taking or uploading photos of them, and must use client information only to provide their services.
• StyleChart doesn’t employ, endorse or supervise professionals and isn’t a party to the services they provide. Your agreement for any service is between you and your professional.

5. Not medical advice

Sensitivities, formulas, products and notes in StyleChart are records, not medical, dermatological or safety advice. They may be incomplete or out of date. Professionals remain responsible for their own consultations, patch tests and safety practices, and clients should always tell their professional about allergies or reactions directly.

6. Acceptable use

Don’t use StyleChart to:

• break the law, or violate anyone’s privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights;
• upload content that is sexually explicit, hateful, harassing or violent, or that shows someone without their consent;
• access a StyleChart that wasn’t shared with you, or try to get around our security or access controls;
• scrape, reverse engineer, overload or disrupt the Service;
• impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your identity or professional credentials.

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Reporting. If you see content in StyleChart that violates these terms, or a professional or client is abusing access, report it to hello+style@wholeatlas.com or from Account → Report a problem in the app. We review reports within 24 hours and remove violating content and the accounts that posted it. Clients can also stop any professional’s access immediately by revoking it in the app.

7. Price

StyleChart is free to download, register and use for clients. We may offer optional paid features in the future. If we do, we’ll show the price and terms before you buy, and nothing already free for clients will start charging without notice.

8. Our Service

StyleChart, including its software, design, names and logos, is owned by us and protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the apps on devices you own or control, according to these terms. We may change, add or remove features, and we may suspend or end the Service. If we end the Service, we’ll give reasonable notice where we can.

If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without any obligation to you.

9. Ending your account

You can delete your account anytime in the app under Account → Delete account. What happens to your data is described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or if we must by law. Sections 3 (as to de-identified data), 4, 5 and 10 through 13 survive termination.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we don’t guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content in it is accurate.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, StyleChart, Whole Atlas and their affiliates won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any services performed by professionals. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

12. Indemnity

If you use StyleChart as a professional, you’ll defend and hold StyleChart harmless from claims arising from your services, your content, or your violation of these terms or the law.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to these terms or the Service will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in Ohio, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. Either of us may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court.

14. Apple and Google

If you got the app from Apple’s App Store: these terms are between you and StyleChart, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app, and isn’t responsible for claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection, or intellectual property infringement claims. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund any purchase price; Apple has no other warranty obligation. You confirm you aren’t located in a country subject to a U.S. embargo or on a U.S. prohibited-parties list. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

If you got the app from Google Play, Google Play’s terms also apply to your download. Google isn’t responsible for the app.

15. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we’ll update the effective date and notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use StyleChart after that means you accept the updated terms.
